MICROCYDE ANTIMICROBIAL PRODUCTS
EFFICACY LIST

The following is a list of bacteria, viruses, yeast and fungi that have been tested with the Microcyde™ Antimicrobial Products or are known for their sensitivity to PCMX and Nonoxynol-9 activity. The Microcyde Antimicrobial skin products contain an excess of the active ingredients to give you a microcidal safety margin that effectively kills and prevents the growth of the following organisms. Where more than one strain was tested, antibiotic strains were tested and the number of strains are in parenthesis. Microcidal activity was measured with a 30 second contact time and most strains were killed in 15 seconds or less. The data below lists the Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) in Parts Per Million (PPM). Microcyde products contain an excess of the active ingredients (17,500 ppm) to account for water dilution during hand washing and the activity of the new antibiotic resistant super germs.
